Lucknow and Varanasi have been shortlisted in the Smart Cities challenge by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
We hereby invite citizens to come forward and share their opinions about the issues and bottlenecks plaguing the city and suggest their vision along with innovative, sustainable and SMART solutions with regard to the following Area-Based Strategies:

• Retrofitting (Planning and improvement of infrastructure in an existing built-up area).
• Redevelopment (Replacement of existing built-up area and co-creation of new layout with enhanced infrastructure).
• Greenfield Development (planning and development in new areas)

Lucknow and Varanasi Municipal Corporation are looking forward to the valuable suggestions and continued support of citizens in this endeavor.

आज आधुनिकता के युग में स्मार्ट सिटी बनाना आवश्यक है। लेकिन हमें। ये भी ध्यान रखना इस।कि जो प्राचीन विरासते है। उन्हें नुकसान न पहुंचे।और उन विरासतों को उसी माडल में ही विकास किया जाऐ।तभी स्मार्ट होगा उत्तर प्रदेश

सबसे पहले यह देखना होगा कि हमारी पुरानी विरासतों को कोई नुकसान ना हो उनको संरक्षण प्रदान किया जाए एवं हमारी काशी नई स्मार्ट सिटी के साथ-साथ अपने विरासतों को के नाम से जानी जाए।

हिमालय को टाइल्स ओर झालरों से नही सजाया जा सकता उसी तरह काशी की गलियों को तोड़ कर उसे नही सवारा जा सकता । आठ श्रीमान से निवेदन है कि मुलभुल समस्यायों का समाधान खोजे काशी के बाहरी क्षेत्रो का विकास करे पर पुरानी काशी को दक्षिण भारत बनाने की कोशिश न करे । वह की गलियों से नही नालियों को साफ करने से काशी का विकास होगा । बाकी काशी वालो का जीने का अंदाज़ भी काशी की शान ही है । धन्यवाद

हम चाहते हैं कि काशी को उसके उसी रूप में ही सजाया जाय ताकि हम अपने आने वाली पीढ़ियों को दिखा सकें कि काशी को मोक्ष की नगरी क्यों कहा जाता है ।

सरकारी आवास और योजनायों में अधिकारियों द्वारा रिश्वत सबसे बड़ा मुद्दा है सरकार को इस और ध्यान देना चाहिए और जन प्रतिनिधि भी शामिल होते है इसमे
