Lucknow and Varanasi have been shortlisted in the Smart Cities challenge by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
We hereby invite citizens to come forward and share their opinions about the issues and bottlenecks plaguing the city and suggest their vision along with innovative, sustainable and SMART solutions with regard to the following Area-Based Strategies:

• Retrofitting (Planning and improvement of infrastructure in an existing built-up area).
• Redevelopment (Replacement of existing built-up area and co-creation of new layout with enhanced infrastructure).
• Greenfield Development (planning and development in new areas)

Lucknow and Varanasi Municipal Corporation are looking forward to the valuable suggestions and continued support of citizens in this endeavor.

आज देश में कई शहर आगे की ओर तरक्की कर रहै हैं उनमें से एक लखनऊ और वाराणसी है अगर इनके विकास की बात की जाये तो वाराणसी तो पुराने समय से ही स्मार्ट है बस कमी है तो इसके जीर्णोउद्धार की अगर समय रहते इन शहरों पर ध्यान दिया जाता तो देश में इन शहरो की बात अलग होती है माननीय श्री अखिलेश यादव जी ने जिस प्रकार लखनऊ और वाराणसी का विकास किया है उसे उत्तर प्रदेश के इन शहरो की काया ही बदल गई है अखिलेश भईया जिंदाबाद

किसी city को samart बनाने के लिए निम्न बाते ध्यान रखनी चाहिए।
1- drainage system
2-all facility at one click
3- transportation
4-eclectricity
5- security

There should be proper concentration on sports also In many schools they do not concentrate on sports and that's why India's performance in Olympics or other sports is not as other countries like USA, China,etc.I am giving this suggestion that there should be a policy like There should be proper concentration on sports by the schools and government should also inspire youths to prepare for games like Olympics,etc.If government does that India would be No 1 in sports

-Waste material management program और बड़े स्केल पर चलाने चाहिए।
2-Drainage system सही से लागू हो ये सुनिश्चित होना चाहिए
3-illegal colonies पर विशेष focus होना चाहिए जिससे अवैध colony न बन सके।

Agar Hume ek better smart city banana h to sabse phase Hume (Bidi, Tobacco, Cigarette) ko fully banned karna padega kyuki ye sabse jyada ganda karte h chahe bo Road ho bus ho train ho gali, River ho ho ghar ho ya bahar. Only inke ban hone se hi 50% problem solve ho jayegi smart city Ki. Kyuki ye sabse jyada gandgi karte h or har jagah.
