Lucknow and Varanasi have been shortlisted in the Smart Cities challenge by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
We hereby invite citizens to come forward and share their opinions about the issues and bottlenecks plaguing the city and suggest their vision along with innovative, sustainable and SMART solutions with regard to the following Area-Based Strategies:
• Retrofitting (Planning and improvement of infrastructure in an existing built-up area).
• Redevelopment (Replacement of existing built-up area and co-creation of new layout with enhanced infrastructure).
• Greenfield Development (planning and development in new areas)
Lucknow and Varanasi Municipal Corporation are looking forward to the valuable suggestions and continued support of citizens in this endeavor.

Govt ke pas ek visionary body honi chahiye. jisme alag alag field ke experts ho. jo political influence se alag ho. jinke selection me puri transparancy ho. Uske bad kisi bhi city geographic & demographic survey krke. 20 yrs ki advance soch ke sath. sabkuch foundation level se suru kiya jaye. kaam me der lagega lekin asli smart city ki kalpna tabhi sambhav hogi. for example kahi road banni ho to seaver line, gas pipe line, water supply line, electricity line phle bna liya jaye tabhi kam aage ho
